‘Maxim Kolosov’ featured in The Bangalore Review

“I’d never seen a man die. Not before this. I would’ve looked away had I known what was coming, that he was jumping for real.”

The Bangalore Review has picked up my short piece, ‘Maxim Kolosov.’ Briefly, the story is a rumination on impermanence, memory, colonialism, and one man’s epiphany after witnessing a suicide. It is the opening piece of an ongoing short-story cycle, Moon Tenements, which will be published incrementally. In the meantime, have a look at ‘Kolosov’ here.
